Без понятия, но звучит как нечто потенциально полезное.

After 4 years it got way better. natt said he suspended porting because the emu was being rapidly developed. I'd say now it should be safe to resume the work. Especially since psp in bizhawk would allow us to apply rerecording to one other platform automatically - mobile java aka j2me, via its emulator for psp.

What do you need 3000 pixels on the right for exactly? I don't see what purpose it serves besides breaking the forum layout.

Post subject: Do you use TASEditor or TAStudio for TASing?

So this has been a thing for years now, and TAStudio is slowly outrunning TASEditor in the amount of its features. As its current developer, I always apply my personal needs that rise from actual TASing, as well as user requests that don't sound insanely complex. But one question keeps bugging me, ever since AnS released TASEditor 1.01: how many people are actually using it, how many will use? How many started from it and don't want to learn the traditional way of TASing? How many switched to these tools from the latter? It's also odd that TAStudio still has no manual, so all of its features users mostly find by trial and error. But partly it's because we already have a manual that covers most of the essential features of such high level TAS tools. It's the TASEditor manual AnS wrote, it lucidly covers its features in their entirety. http://www.fceux.com/web/help/taseditor/

Fair enough, I suppose.

TAS Editor menu - File - Save compact. Greenzone - don't save. The site dues support fm3.

link_7777, this faq mentions that the warp takes you to world 4: https://www.gamefaqs.com/nes/587721-tc-surf-designs-thrillas-surfari/faqs/46783 While it seems you only skip to 3-1. Why is that?

1. How many published encodes have you done? 2. This hasn't been accepted yet.

I haven't started encoding yet. How hard would this be to include right away?

I wish you good luck, as even questions Warepare posts on stackoverflow rarely get answered. Because they are so hard. This is the level of Hourglass-R's complexity. Yet if you are optimistic about this, let's hope you really find someone.

I'm asking what the limits and criteria of acceptance are for that. Do we just publish everything that anybody submits, or are there minimum requirements? Why are some submissions accepted and others rejected? How many "runs" of the same game is it reasonable to host?
Nothing is accepted to the demo tier as it doesn't exist. My impression was that this thread discusses the suggestions, which I have plenty of.

In my books, once you start executing your own code, the game has ended. And since the game ended before reaching the end, the game wasn't completed. The game isn't even relevant anymore at that point. It was simply used to inject code into the console. Which game was used for this becomes a moot point (other than by the technical details of how to inject code into the console using that particular game, but this has nothing to do with speedrunning and completing the game in question.)
My question is still this: Why is it bad to host such runs that our community members made exclusively for our community? You guys talk about the rules, but if the cause is really worth it, rules can be exclusively bended: [2558] SNES Super Metroid "GT code, game end glitch" by amaurea, Cpadolf, total in 14:52.88 is a terrific run everyone loves, and the debug code it uses was considered to be justified, due to that run's other merits. Why can't we extrapolate such approach for other runs that people put their TAS related effort into?

So the answer is no, then? If you don't have anything to contribute, what are you doing here?
I'm contributing by giving your answers that you ignore. Even the post that triggered you was an answer: things you keep asking for years aren't relevant anymore within the scope of ACE runs, and that's been the official policy for years as well. That's why I said that there's no such question here for this run. Whether it's a speedrun is officially not asked, nor is it cared about. And your concern can not be resolved, because there's no way to change our ACE policies to make you happy. Just like there's no way to fix your views to make you happy with the ACE policies. Now tell my why is that not contributing to the conversation.

ThunderAxe31, look up some examples on my page. We do have relevant content and possibilities around, it just doesn't fit yet.
