Will encode a quick one this evening.

Uh...I got no idea where to post this, so I'm going to post it here. Why is this ok to have as a separate run of the Snes version, while Resident Evil for the PSX obsoleted the NDS version? Shouldn't they be separate now?
Crossplatforms must be unobsoleted. [560] NES Adventure Island by nesrocks in 37:01.37

Yes, reuploading. And where shall I host a camhack? I won't be able to add that to the video name on TVC. EDIT: Continuation ID: 22 and it drops.

Pointless Boy: I half feel that there should be additional encodes with the camera hack centered on Sonic and Tails, as well as the one with the HUD, just so people can see a little bit better what is going on.
I'm dumping this with camhack-only defs and with sprites on top. I don't think anything more is needed. But can I PLEASE be sure this upload won't be deleted as the non-camhacked one? I even would like to replace all SD encodes with such camhack and leave only one of 2 youtubers non-hacked for those who want to compare.

Why was my deblinked 30 fps S3K encode (not added to the publication yet) removed from the channel? The current one was most likely not using deblink (didn't check precisely). EDIT: Brandon's one was encoded 2011-04-02 when deblink didn't even exist.

If I wanted regular subtitles I would just make them obviously. But here you don't have text formatted for regular subtitles. It was wriutten to watch in taseditor.

Konami code is just a glitch in Konami games. It's perfectly legit to TAS with it.

I had to heavily revise the stars list, adelikat wanted it to match the quota perfectly. Runs from the bottom of entertainment ratings were destarred. Some from the middle were as well, since we had several "too similar" TASes, and some wre outdated and not that impressive for today. All that is not absolute, I believed all of those were still awesome by what they contain, but relatively to the others something had to be destarred. Feel free to suggest other changes, including/excluding something different. Here's the changelog: http://tasvideos.org/TierMaintenanceLog.html

This publication gained 35 rates while still being a submission. Some people may want to revise their votes, which look obviously biased.

As I've mentioned 6 years ago, the game has a weird bug when you exit the screen, it shows a lot of garbled blocks. I didn't find anything there, but if someone wants to test this game, that is something to look into. I don't really remember, but I would say the way to get to the garbled blocks screen is to teleport to a platform that is too high on the screen... Or maybe the platform to the left near the rocket.
Where are all your promised atari tases btw?

It happens only on previews. After actual encoding only the things that really blink become transparent. Try encoding that segment for test.
