Yeah. How different would a 1 player run be? Would it be slower?

Status update. After I encoded this for the first time, the author spotted graphical glitch in my encodes. I fixed it, and finish the HD encode that's already uploaded to TVC. Then I started 512kb, and after 60% x264 (or avisynth) crashed due to screen shaking (it didn't when I encoded that initially, but that was a different OS). I just started that again and it crashed at the same frame. So now I'm encoding from a frame that's near the shaking, and it got past that frame somehow without problems. The annoying part is that SDs are taking about 5 days each for this game for me. But I think it will be good in the end. I want to finish this one, but I don't think I'll be taking such long encodes for Wii anymore, not to choke the queue.

Let's focus on discussing how much this movie is more entertaining than the one it obsoletes, in the same areas. The latter had 4 years to gain people's attention, and here's what it got: http://tasvideos.org/rating.exe/2395/details Count how many "Yes vote" posts are there in this thread (and how many of them contain reasons). Count how many votes are actually there. I disagree with the statement that this run is surprisingly more entertaining than its predecessor.

Why 720x480? Was it an automatic setting or you just picked that resolution? Otherwise your method looks good.

Guys please post more feedback. I got around to watching it and I really loved it! Never expected a beat-'em-up game to be so engaging! But that only starts after the first half of the run, when most people would probably drop and and vote No.

If it's a user text then you could override it, killing the info you once needed. Sounds like you need one more column instead? Or optional last column. I dunno. But I'm on a tastudio vacation anyway :P I might make the timestamp popup along with the screenshot too. Help me find the neatest way.

Looks cool. But it's SiD, not SID.

Since I have to reencode 007, anyone can take this until I finish.

The latest release contains what I fixed about it blindly reverting every button state of the selected region. Let's say you have this sequence of buttons:
-
R
-
R
-
1. Previously, if you select that area and click the column header, it would indeed have become this
R
-
R
-
R
2. TASeditor will make it this, upon the first column header click (no matter what):
R
R
R
R
R
And then, if you click again, it will clear them all. 3.1. TAStudio will make it this (right now)
R
R
R
R
R
because the value of the first button was false. 3.2. If you have this sequence selected with TAStudio
R
-
R
-
R
and click the column header, it will clear them all! Because the first button value was true. That way clicking the column header works like drawing. If you start drawing from the empty cell, you will draw R. If you start drawing from R, it will draw empty cells, always reverting the value you're starting from. Do you want me to leave it like that, or switch to what TASEditor does? Right now, if you just need to clear a whole bunch of cells with all values of true or all values of false, you'll get what you want anyway. But the result will vary depending on the first cell value. PS: Did I mention TAStudio can autohold if you rightclick the column header?

Errrrr, does fba even support that game? From what I remember, it was only for m68k based games.

Try disabling aspect ratio correction. BTW, the release should also be able to run libretro mame. But no tas tools there yet.

I demand this art be used in the publication encodes! I don't see the watermark though. If it's not there, a small note crediting the art author can be put in a logo. Also, since the site is called MEMEVideos after all, this run will be obsoleted when Sonic the Hedgehog 3CD & Knuckles & Knuckles is finally TASed.

I've been working on a comparison script for 4.5 hours straight. And when it was ready for for inserting the values, I got a sudden overflow that cleared the file. It even utilized an external plugin to allow avisynth do a for loop. And it happened right before I decided to go to sleep. So that I could forget what was in the script. How fucking cute.
