Use whichever of the last 3 logos you like more and go ahead.

Very much this. Dwango, there can't be damage, if the mistakes are honest, and the downsides of novel and supremely technical work can't be considered damage either! Damage starts when one thinks he's doing everything perfectly and ignores the feedback, which is nowhere close to your attitude.

Not sure if I reported either of these already since I deleted the puushes to make room for others, but using the latest build I get this error which crashes BizHawk consistently every 5-10 minutes or so. It happens regardless of what I'm doing as long as TAStudio is open, whether it's loading branches, doing anything else related to TASing, or just playing the game in real time without loading any states or branches. This error, which crashes BizHawk and deletes all branches and savestates, seemed to be related to loading branches at certain points in the game. It happened 3 or 4 times around frame 203000 in this project for Front Mission Series: Gun Hazard, but hasn't occurred since I got past that part.
Do you still have the exception texts for these? I just had a crash that killed my branches and markers. I'm inventing a workaround, which is to save and load greenzone states last when saving and loading the project. That way if it gets corrupted during saving, all but greenzone will already be saved.

Notes to self: When markers are unbinded from input, branch operations shouldn't touch markers. Add jump to branch functionality (aka read-only loading). Move screenshot control below branch view if it covers the latter. Make branch list columns width fit their contents. Allow editing marker #0 if its frame is >0? Set marker zero in all scenarios. This was just bad movie importing that I think I fixed. Better branch number font in cursor column? Too complex atm. Save branch backups when editing branches. Update selection count every time it changes. Double-clicking on existing marker should pop up text edit dialog. Consider cursor position. https://github.com/TASVideos/BizHawk/pull/793

This game has no real ending?

This one is really nice. But what happened with Link's feet? I guess the image you took it from crops there? When I had that situation, I moved my character to the edge of the image and it stopped looking too odd.

Gameplay starts at 38s. Put the subs on the right side below the HUD. And since opinions halved on your logo, ask other staff members as well (on IRC).

Hi. Not sure I can read this in one sitting, but I subscribed to the thread. Can you add chapter headers for better digestion?

Before I look too hard into this, does anyone think the 1P run is not outstanding enough to remain published alongside this one and should get obsoleted?

Hi, I've made an HD encode of this movie, can you tell me if it is good enough to be published ? here is the link : https://archive.org/download/CircusCaperAnyResubmissionDrD2k9/Circus%20Caper%20-%20Any%20%25%20-%20Resubmission%20-%20DrD2k9.rar
Hi. Thanks for helping, but your encode has some problems. The subtitles should start when the actual gameplay starts (and make sure they don't cover anything important). The logo should get approved by the staff before it can be used for official encodes. Your logo doesn't have any errors as far as I can see, but its style is very weird and inconsistent: detailed objects, upscaled pixelated objects, detailed font, pixelated font, font sizes, intalics... that's just a mess. And break the first line in 2. See how our publishers put together their logos: http://tasvideos.org/SiteHistory/EncoderLogos.html Also, don't use Archive.org for uploads of runs that haven't been accepted yet.

PSX is the console that has ACE runs which aren't verified. With the dramatically increased data feed rates, it becomes possible to make a takeover chain. But as no ACE was found for N64 (just yet), PSX verification might be a way forward.

BTW, does some sort of a glitchfest TAS for SM64 exist? The one that would try to show all the insanity and still beat the game.

Try event.onexit()
string event.onexit(func luaf, [string name = null])

Fires after the calling script has stopped
Declare the vars outside the loops and store them to a file when the script dies. Dunno if it will work upon emulator crash though, probably not. To insure against that you'd have to constantly dump the numbers to a file (probably overwriting the old ones). And you don't have to specify the step being 1, since it's default.

Right, as a good example of concept diversity, there was boulder mario kart race. Not so hard to set up, but extremely funny. TAS vs. human is also interesting. Can we invent new concepts every time? I dunno.

Insert Coin command wasn't recorded for some reason. Open the movie in a text editor like Notepad++ and put |16| instead of |0| at the frame you need. http://www.fceux.com/web/FM2.html

If you replace it with the movie status mark (also removable), it'd be best. Poll based input is a good feature, don't remove it. You could simplify it though. This is what I'm planning to do with fceux someday: https://sourceforge.net/p/fceultra/bugs/741/#168a
