The Frantic Fisherman is an arcade-style fishing game for the Commodore 64 and was published in the June 1984 issue of the Compute's! Gazette. You play as a fisherman out on the ocean alone in the middle of turbulent shark-infested waters and unkind weather. You must protect your boat from shark attacks and flooding rains by using spears to kill the sharks and unbrellas to cover your boat from the rain. The sharks never stop coming and the rain is neverending, so survive for as long as you can.
nymx for this run opts to go for the maximum score that can be achieved in one life before reaching what is considered the kill screen. In the process, the game glitches out to the point where the lives counter overflows to 0, which is the end point of the run.
